The Candidates Tournament has come to a close. Looks like Ian Nnepommppiachtchi is going to compete again for the World Chess Championship (if Magnus Carlsen is going to play/defend his title this time around). For a while near the end, it looked like Hikaru Nakamura was going to pull off second place, but alas it was not meant to be. Firouzja Alireza managed to inch up out of the last two spots and the world should watch him grow and mature as a player.
