We had another meeting at Memorial Park under the pavilion. We had a smaller turn-out this time around (9 total), as some folks had other commitments. There were still some pretty good games (including missed mates in one, and swashbuckling unsound cascading sacrifices). We had a couple of boys that were playing baseball at the park swing by and play a few games. Perhaps they’ll be back next week!
Perhaps we’ll even see you there!
Two of our club members will be making their way to San Marcos, TX this coming weekend to compete in a classical chess tournament with G60 and G90 time controls. We’ll create some posts from the venue. Check out the Events Calendar for more details.
